Ventilated Big Bag: For Produce That Breathes
A ventilated big bag is a special type of FIBC whose fabric has ventilation openings arranged in strips. The ventilation strips run across the entire surface of the bag and let the product inside breathe.
It is designed for transporting and storing agricultural produce that keeps releasing moisture and heat after harvest.
Why a Ventilated Big Bag?
- Air Circulation — Openings in the fabric let the moisture and heat produced by the product escape
- Prevents Spoilage — Reduces the risk of sweating, rot and mould, preserving shelf life
- Outdoor Storage — UV-resistant construction (150 kLy, ASTM G53) suitable for storage in the field and outdoor yards
- Efficient Logistics — Up to 2000 kg of product per bag; fast forklift loading and unloading
